Abstract
LaminarPace drying technology is a new unit operation for the fill and finish step of vaccine to stabilize delicate and sensitive vaccines. The process is built on air-drying, usingcounter-current flow with stream separation at room temperature.Liquid vaccines are driedinto a temperature stable powder at high yields, which subsequently can be quickly dissolved prior immunization. The unit operation will be described with examples and an outline to incorporate LaminarPace process intoa fill and finish manufacturing of vaccines will be presented.
