DCVMN CEO Rajinder Suri, as part of the RVMC (Regional Vaccine Manufacturing Collaborative) Strategic Advisory Board, had the privilege of attending a private session titled ‘From Investment to Impact: Promoting the Financial Sustainability of Regionalized Manufacturing’ at the Permanent Mission of France to the UN in Geneva. This side event, held during the World Health Assembly, was co-hosted by the RVMC, the Medicines Patent Pool (MPP), the Permanent Mission of France, World Health Organization, and the National Academy of Medicine.
The session facilitated valuable knowledge sharing among regions, countries, industry, and other key partners, addressing the opportunities and challenges in enhancing the financial sustainability of regionalized manufacturing. It also aimed to identify innovative solutions to overcome persistent obstacles in this context.
We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to these critical discussions and look forward to continued collaboration in advancing global health initiatives.
