It was indeed a great pleasure and honour for DCVMN CEO, Rajinder Suri, to participate in person in the Global Forum for Vaccine Sovereignty and Innovation co-hosted by the Government of France, Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, and Africa CDC on the occasion of Gavi 6.0 replenishment call and AVMA Launch by H.E. Emmanuel Macron, Honourable President of France in the presence of several heads of states and Honourable ministers from African countries, Gavi Board Chair Prof. José Manuel Barroso, Dr Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director General WHO, Dr Sania Nishtar, CEO Gavi and H.E. Dr Jean Kaseya, Director General, Africa CDC.
Several vaccine tech-transfer deals were announced including five-valent Meningitis vaccine from our member company EuBiologics Co., Ltd., S. Korea, with another member company Biovac in South Africa, and HPV vaccine bulk transfer from member company Innovax China to ATLANTIC LIFESCIENCES LTD in Ghana.
