DCVMN at the ICMR-CEPI Collaborative Workshop on H5N1 Vaccine Readiness

How ready are we for an H5N1 pandemic?

This urgent question brought together global minds and local expertise at the ICMR-CEPI Collaborative Workshop on H5N1 Vaccine Readiness in New Delhi last week. Our CEO, Rajinder Suri, joined distinguished voices from industry, academia and public health institutions to explore what it will take to translate pandemic preparedness into tangible vaccine solutions, especially within the Indian ecosystem.

From assessing the global H5N1 vaccine landscape to mapping India’s R&D and manufacturing pathways, the workshop was a powerful platform for cross-sector dialogue. Discussions ranged from regulatory licensure and financial viability to real-world production hurdles.

Rajinder Suri, along with DCVMN members, brought the manufacturers’ voice to the table during the panel on “Industry Perspective and Feedback: Realizing the Vision and Bridging Gaps, Enhancing Vaccine Readiness.”

Thanks to the Collaborative efforts by Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and CEPI (Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations) like this which are essential to ensure that when the next pandemic threat emerges, nations and the industry are ready to respond.
